CC has allowed him to flourish. We’ve been able to go at his pace. He has stayed in the same group with his peers. He’s never been sent to a remedial class on the other side of the campus. He can use his memory and excel at CC because of it. He THRIVED. He loves grammar. How is this possible? Well, he memorized so much between the ages of 5-9 [in Foundations] that when he got in class he didn’t have to bother with reading definitions. Once we explained the puzzle of the English language [in Essentials], everything clicked.

For me, CC has been a resource, a tool, and a guide. I educated my first two children in a modern mindset, and I dropped them in high school because I just couldn’t do it. Then when my daughter was in 3rd grade I discovered CC. Through it, my daughter was finally able to read a book independently for the first time ever in Challenge A.
After 35+ years of professional teaching experience, I think CC is the best model out there.
